I should change the name of this blog to teaching.
Technology is an odd thing in teaching. While Dodge Charger accessories seem easy to understand, eduction technology is not.
Many people think that the mere use of technology make life easy and help kids learn. This is of course not the case.
I will discuss more of technology in future posts.

We have been talking about in our class discussions for an ED 205 class that I am taking right now. It's a very interesting topic to discuss.
Implementation is a very important factor in ed tech. You're right, you can't just sit the students in front of a computer screen and expect it help them learn more. Technology offers so many gateways through which to teach or supplement teaching.
The problem is with all of this, people sit down in front of a Dodge Charger and want to learn, they just bought a new car, they want to be familiar with the technology they are going to use. With education people aren't so eager, even in the college level. The key is to relate the information as something practical, something that they will use later in life. Whether that this is gearing them up for their next test, or teaching them something about Microsoft Word that will make their life easier in the future.
