Life Skills

One of the odd things I find at teaching where I do is sometimes what the students do not know. I was talking with the person who does the Life skills classes. Most of the kids had no clue why you would have a savings accounts.

Of course with interest rates at where they are at I am not sure why I want one. One of the odd things with the lower rates though. The lower rates go for houses and such, the lower they go for older people who need the security of savings account. So this last rate of .25% means a 25% drop in income from savings accounts.
