High School Students who want to teach

Question: what does a high school student need to do teach? What classes should I take, what are the basic education requirements? Is this a good school for education?

If you are in high school you need to
1. stay in school
2. take as many AP classes as you can
3. take solid courses
4. take part in sports and other activities.
5. talk with your school counselor
6. look for teaching opportunities now. church, tutor, younger kids. Anything that will help you get some experience teaching and see if you like it.

What are the basic ed requirements
1. you need a BA (four year degree) in your subject or elementary education
2. you need education classes
3. you need to student teach
4. you will need to pass to state tests in your subject
