Finding Peace

I am always looking at new ways to explain things. The Buddha is tough subject for many. I like to show a few minutes of Babylon AD. While the guy was looking for travel deals he hads this girl who has never seen pain. Her reaction to the pain is like that of the Buddha when he first say aging, death and pain.

Again something this shows something really good that I do like, new wayw of seeing and looking.

have a most happy day and have peace.

A Gift for a Teacher

One of the big questions on answer.yahoo.com under the teaching section, which I am a top answerer on, is what to get a teacher who you like as a present.

One of my top answer is a gift card to somewhere nice. My personal favorite is to somewhere out to eat that I could not normally afford or afford on a regular basis. I mean I easily cannot go out to eat, something even as simple as TGIFridays or Applebees.

Have a happy day.

M.Ed or MA

Here is an odd one for those of you with diet pill of the mind . . .

Should I get a M.Ed or an MA in subject specific topic. I really happen to like the idea of doing some work in History.

I am leaning towards one in history as that is my forte. The real problem is will not having an M.Ed hurt me?

This is what I would like to know. So if you have any suggestions i would be open.

Well I hope that you have a most happy day.

Chugging Along.

Some times teaching at an alternative school is like showing up at your self storage unit without a key and load of stuff.

Let me explain: there is sometimes so much baggage some of these students carry that they never know when to let go. So as soon as we try to unload it, alas the students do not understand and hold on even harder. Such is life.

If you are an alternative school teacher, I salute you. Remember to just keep working with the kids. And for me, well we keep chugging along.

Have a great day.
