Movie Charting

Now for those of you who are working English and Lit to pay for your rv insurance, I ran across a really good tool to use.

This is a chart showing how the story moves along in movies. How and where characters are at any given time in relation to each other. The person who wrote calls it a character narrative chart. Personally there are a few more of these I would love to see.

Have a fun time teaching lit.

Make me Laugh.

Okay so I was looking for something funny to watch. My son sent me this one from Camcast. I love this thing. I was laughing so hard I almost spit coke out of my nose. WHich would of course made everyone else laugh.

So I was wondering . . . where do you place the air filters on this panther, rabbit hairless, turbine, with a tailwind and the overcaffianted fighter pilot. . . .

Just watch the commercial.

Have a great day.

Warmth in Winter

I just went to CA so the odds of me getting time off for a really nice us virgin islands hotels is starting to seem even more less likely. Of course how do you get something like more and less at the same time.

okay so I am thinking that I should have held out for a better spring trip or better yet an awesome mid-winter trip down south. Instead I will have the snow to keep me warm at night.

Have a great day!

Tactics in the classroom

Many teachers and in particular where I work are coming up with some creative uses for playstation 3 and Wii gaming systems for students to use.

Now I will confess I used an old PS1 game at one time to teach military tactics, it was called Panzer Leader. Most kids think you just toss soldiers onto the field and the job gets done. the advantage I had here was the ability to show how slow war can move through a good simulation game.

Have a great day.

Finding Something New

I have been thinking about heading out and trying something new. I have considered a hcg shots austin just to lose some weight.

I am not sure what to really expect. I do have some questions about the whole thing. I am sure that I am going to have to do some more research and ask more questions before I am a 100% sure of what to do.

Well I am sure about what to do and I am still looking for answers.

Well I hope that you have a really great day.

New Places To Go.

One thing that I am amazed at is that the some of the large cities like philadelphia pa jobs seem to be doing well for some teachers.

The reason is that inner city teaching jobs are usually available and ready to hire. I applied a while ago and would have to go to to Philly for an interview. Since it was 20 hours of driving time, I decided to pass on going there. Of course I also did not like the housing prices.

I hope that you have a great day.

validation from a teen? HAHAHHAHAHA

The kids I work with are always good manipulators of people. They are nearly the best at this and only perfecting skills everyday.

Fun story:

One of my students wanted to get something out of a bag they are not allowed to get into. After it was just to, 'show you something really cool.' I of course said, no.

She comes back and flutters her Swisher Sweets eyes and tries the, oh please you are such a nice teacher.

Again I said, no.

She finally says, I hate you.

I said, that is fine, I am not here to be loved after all I do not find my validation in life from teenage girls.

This of course floors her.

Freedoms for Business

When looking at the future I am a great fan of freedoms. I am in favor of allowing industrial handles to do their own things.

Business have an inherit self-interest to do good and safe products. After all who is going to buy a product that is harmful. Why would we want to buy anything that is bad and going to harm or kill. Most governmental control is bad and horrid. The amount that we pay for governmental regulations is amazing.

Have a most happy day.
