One of my obsessions with alternative education is that of ALT ED for adults. I have earned a BA degree via distance ed. I am very pro-distance education and like to find programs that are 1) accredited by the right people and 2) are 100% online. A secondary consideration is entrance requirements. I really hate distance ed with high entrance requirements. After most people have a hard time with distance education.
So I am considering my next degree. I am considering an
online MBA as a next program. The alternative is an online MPA. the difference is private and public. Being in the education world I may be better served by a MPA but having to explain what that is can be tiring and exhausting.
The University of Scranton seems to fit the bill.
1. It is accredited by AACSB and is regionally accredited.
2. IT is 100% online. No pesky show up and take a class.
3. Will waive the GMAT for some students.
Sounds good to me.
