Traveling Roadshows

One of the odd things that I see often is the RVs that have educational materials and sites for kids. These are really good for an alternative school that is also a residential facility. Of course when the need rv towing it will slow down the progress.

I recently saw one that dealt with the history of the state. It was really nice and positive for my students. I really do like these traveling displays.

Cats having fun.

One of the funny things that I find are cat supplies and pictures of cats.

Of course we all know that cats cannot read words in mid air.



Of course I like pictures of cats and dogs. Dogs are always fun. And when dogs and cats get together only fun happens.



Of course cats are not ninjas. What else do they like to do? I am sure they are annoying.

Cats are also not pirates. I think that cats are more pirate then ninjas. But then what do I know?

Finding Good Days.

I have been in a good mood. My best diet pill have been working well.

The good news is that I spent a few days in California. I only spent a half an hour at the beach. I love the beach. Smells so good. The ocean smell always smells good.

I also spent time with some people that I know and it was good. I enjoyed meeting some high school friends. Of course the best news was that I went to an Angles game and watched them win.

A New School Building.

I just went home and I was shocked with some of the new buildings. At the top of the hill there is a new high school going in. The first thing they put in was the student parking lot. Of course what is funny is that the school is only for freshmen and sophmores. There are plenty of metal buildings out there.

The funny part for the student parking lot is that the students cannot drive to school because they do not have cars, yet.

The Right Word

I was trying to help a student while he was writing a good story and a long one at that. He needed to know the word of the candle holder that is used to hold candles on the wall.

After some work we found out that it was a wall candle sconces. The good news is that his story has become much better now that he has been working at using words and finding the best words available.

WGU

As many of you know I am a big fan of getting an online degree. I personally received my BA degree in Secondary Education from Western Governors University (WGU).

The program was excellent and I loved all the support that I received. The work was rigorous and challenging and helped me grow as a person and as a teacher.

The one advantage that I had was that I already had a BA degree and three years teaching. Now I needed my secondary teaching. The amount that I learned was great.

The good news about WGU now is that they offer degrees in computers, nursing, and of course still teaching. I found the faculty to be responsive and willing to help at all levels.

The best part is the support from other students. I loved getting on and chatting with and getting help from other students.

Overall I loved my WGU experience.

Confirmation

I have been using weight loss pills with some really good results. I mean if other people can do it, I figured why not me. You know you are losing weight when studnets mention it. And I was finally told that i was losing weight and that is a nice thing. Though I am not seeking validation from kids.

Of course my group never miss much of anything.
